I'm struggling right now to deal with the millions of different educational theories that they are throwing at us. Since none of our classes are practica or methods, at the moment, it is a bit hard to relate this stuff to teaching chemistry (I actually have to try things out, which is why I was attracted to a discipline with experimentation).
Anyway, as a project in one of my classes, I have to make a scrapbook that illustrates me as a teacher, working with a diverse classroom. I looked through all my pictures of me teaching the classes that I have taught, which were all college-level lab courses and all of my students were white (I'm white as well). While I know that some of them were international students, the pictures don't show that. Any thoughts on how I could represent this concept, given that the only photos look a little single-race?
